As you may be aware by now, I have a rather odd obsession with Lowestoft in Suffolk.
It is a truly awesome place for wildlife but one species in particular always draws me back. That species is the Purple Sandpiper.
The Purple Sandpiper isn't a common bird and so to be able to get close to them is a real treat.
